Acting on behalf of Lloyds Pharmacy, Willis Commercial have negotiated a ‘double deal’ whereby their client company was able to surrender its leasehold interest to coincide with a sale of the property by Tesco to growing local estate agency practice, Corbins who are now trading following a refurbishment programme.
The occupational leasehold interest was surrenderred contemporaneously with the sale of a 999 year lease by Tesco Plc which retains the freehold interest over the extended site including its adjoining supermarket.
Corbins took the opportunity to close two smaller leasehold branches in favour of purchasing one bigger flagship store in a more central location.
