Willis Commercial Engineer Purewell Deal

Willis Commercial Engineer Purewell Deal

Willis Commercial have sold the former Priory Engineering works at 60 Purewell in Christchurch. The property comprises around 11,000 ft² of high bay industrial and office space together with a large yard and forecourt parking. Having initially leased the premises, the new owners Christchurch Hotels Ltd, part of the Harbour Hotels Group, subsequently exercised an option to purchase the freehold interest. The company has since undertaken a comprehensive refurbishment of the building. Commenting on the deal, Patrick Willis said "This site having been synonymous with heavy engineering for around the last 100 years it was a shame to see Purewell Engineering close. However we were pleased to assist in bringing about a transaction which has enabled the new owners to breathe fresh life into the building turning the property into a modern facility commensurate with their thriving business."
